Do your little ones love animals, playing, eating, and running free in the beautiful countryside? If the answer is yes, a trip to Farmer Palmers Farm Park will be right up your street (or should I say field). Farmer Palmers is a great family day out, my little lady (who is 2 going on 22) loves it. I can guarantee your little ones will be entertained for hours!
FARM ANIMALS, PLAY ROOMS, WOODLAND WALKS, TRACTOR RIDES, AND MORE!
Farmer Palmers have a large selection of farm animals. Some of which are inside a barn (perfect for wet days), and some are roaming in field’s close enough for you to see. It is fab because it gives you, and your little one the opportunity to get close to the animals. They even offer demonstrations, lamb feeding, and petting. My little lady absolutely loved feeding the baby lambs, it was such a special moment for her.
As well as the animals Farmer Palmers offer a great selection of children’s activities. These include play areas, face painting (on busy occasions), go carting, tractor rides, bouncy castles, and more! My little lady absolutely loves the barn full of slides on hay bales! She spends hours going up and down them! As well as lots of outdoor activities they have an indoor soft play area, perfect for wet day entertainment. There is certainly enough to fill an entire day. HOT FOOD, CAKES, DRINKS, PARTY ROOMS, AND ICE CREAM
After a few hours exploring we always get a bit peckish. Farmer Palmers have a fab café, offering hot food, sandwiches, and cakes. We love their jacket potatoes. Perfect for a busy family on the go, and offered at a good price. If you are looking for a sugar boost they always have a large selection of homemade cakes, and ice cream. If you fancy taking a picnic this is an option too. They have loads of benches scattered around the park.
We are so lucky to have such an amazing family attraction down the road from us. We were kindly gifted two of their passes, so we will be taking lots of trips this summer as a family! Thank you Farmer Palmer's for having us. A trip to the theatre you say? Go on then… I have always loved going to the Theatre! Being transported into another world is something else. When the opportunity came up to go and watch the live West End hit show “The Tiger who came to tea” with my little lady I jumped at the chance.
It was my first time taking her to the theatre, I was so excited to introduce her to one of my favourite arts. On arrival at the beautiful Poole Lighthouse I explained to her what a theatre was and showed her around. The buzz in the foyer was something else. So many families all excited to watch the show. We took our seats and the show began… ENGAGING ACTING, MAGICAL SETS, AND fun interaction
We were introduced to the three actors who were fantastic throughout. Straight away you felt their energy, and were transported into their daily lives. Through the fantastic use of props, costumes, bold physical movement (of the actors), audience participation, singing, and narrative all of the children (and adults) were entertained throughout. My lady was absolutely mesmerised. The show lasted 55 minutes which was the perfect length of time.
The narrative and repetition throughout was very clever. It kept the audience on their toes and apart of the magic. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces, and hearing them shout out to characters was priceless. There was nothing stuffy or pretentious about it. The children were free to interact with the show, breaking down the fourth wall. SMILES, LAUGHTER, DANCING AND COLOUR
We came out of the show buzzing, as were many other people. My lady said she loved it. The next morning she even told her nursery that she had seen a Tiger!! If you are looking for something fun to do as a family I would highly recommend the show, it has something for everyone!

Last week I was invited to the fabulous Bh2 Leisure complex in Bournemouth with the lovely Emma from Evenangelsfall, and Amy from Everything Mummy. We were invited for a meal at The Real Greek followed by some Crazy Golf at Mr Mulligans! We had the best time! It was SO nice to let my hair down and to belly laugh!
COLOURFUL and TASTY FOOD, in a CHILLED ATMOSPHERE
The Real Greek has such a chilled atmosphere, which I love. This was my first time trying Greek food, so I was so excited to try something new. We decided to share a selection of hot meze dishes, so we could try lots of different things! We were spoilt for choice!
When the dishes came out I was wowed! The vibrant colours of the food, and the smells were amazing! Everything looked so appetising. It was such a nice way to eat together, sharing and chatting. The time went so quickly, I think we were eating for over 2 hours! CRAZY GOLF, VIBRANT COLOURs, AND giggles
After a really enjoyable dinner we headed to Mr Mulligans for a spot of crazy golf! It was so much fun...I really need more practice though as i was rubbish at it!
Mr Mulligans has three courses to choose from, all of which are very different. They are all so enjoyable, and the course designs are amazing. They have a bar (which serve cocktails), and they offer food too. It is a great place to be sociable with friends.
Bh2 Lesuire complex in Bournemouth is a great place to go with friends, family, or work colleagues. There is something for everyone! I rarely get a chance to let my hair down these days so it was such a treat to go out! Thank you for having us Bh2!
